Vinyasa Flow Yoga

 Vinyasa Flow Yoga is a practice that combines stretching, strength and meditative breathing. Instead of pausing between poses as you would in more traditional yoga, each move flows into the next, making it an intense workout linking asana with push ups (chataranga), forward folds (uttanasana) and side bends. The emphasis is on strength and flexibility as well as a fitness practice. 

 

Slow Flow Yoga

The word Vinyasa (vin-ya-sa) means "breath-synchronized movement." Vinyasa focuses on linking the breath with movement & is often referred to as a Moving Meditation.  Expect movement and not just stretching. This class is at a slower, deeper pace with longer holds and more mindful movement.
