The subtle body concept originates from various spiritual and metaphysical traditions, denoting the non-physical layers that coexist with our physical form. These layers, made of energy, correlate with different facets of consciousness and overall well-being. The following are some principal elements of the subtle body:

Aura: An energy field encircling the physical body, the aura mirrors one's emotional, mental, and spiritual states. Its color and intensity can vary according to health and emotions.

Chakras: Positioned along the spine from its base to the crown, chakras are pivotal energy centers. Each chakra corresponds to distinct physical, emotional, and spiritual attributes. For instance, the heart chakra is tied to love and compassion, whereas the throat chakra pertains to communication and self-expression.

Energy Meridians: These channels allow the life force, often termed "qi" or "prana," to circulate through the body. Utilized in Yin Yoga, these meridians are strategically engaged to modulate energy flow and harmonize body, mind, and spirit.

Koshas: In the realm of yoga, koshas are the five sheaths enveloping the soul, extending from the physical layer (Annamaya Kosha) to the layer of bliss (Anandamaya Kosha), each symbolizing varying states of existence and awareness.

Prana: The essential life force that maintains all living entities, prana courses through the chakras and meridians, invigorating both body and psyche.
