Expert Guidance: Learn from certified yoga instructor Gabrielle Gilbert.

Gabi Gilbert

Originally from Canada, Gabi has been practising yoga for over 15 years and underwent her Vinyasa and Yin teacher training in Melbourne. She was initially drawn to yoga in search of a fitness routine, and perhaps a way to warm up in the cold winter days but quickly fell in love with the practice. She enjoys the physical challenge it brings, but furthermore, yoga has become a way of healing and a space of peace.

Gabrielle is a continuous student of yoga’s traditions and philosophy and enjoys sharing her findings with her students. She believes yoga is for everyone and cultivates a supportive and caring environment. As a dedicated yoga instructor, Gabrielle aims to spread her passion for yoga and inspire her students to embrace self-discovery and acceptance through the teachings.

Community Support: Connect with like-minded individuals and build lasting friendships. At the heart of Mudita Yoga studio lies a vibrant community, bonded by a shared passion for yoga, a spirit of unity, and a commitment to support and care for one another.

Holistic Approach: Gabi fosters a holistic approach in her teaching, which involves addressing the physical, mental, and emotional aspects of her student's well-being.

Physical Well-being: In her teaching Gabi will focus on teaching proper alignment, breathing techniques, and the foundational poses, emphasize the importance of listening to one's body and progressing at a comfortable pace.

Mental Clarity: Gabi integrates mindfulness practices such as meditation and breathwork, encouraging students to be present in the moment and cultivate a sense of inner peace.

Emotional Balance: Gabi aims to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where students feel safe to explore their emotions and uses positive affirmations and encourages self-compassion.

Mindful Meditation Program

“Do not try to save the whole world or do anything grandiose. Instead create a clearing in the dense forest of your life and wait there patiently, until the song that is yours alone to sing falls into your open cupped hands and you recognise and greet it. Only then will you know how to give yourself to this world so worthy of rescue.”
— Martha Postlewaite

Namaste,

Drawing on my extensive experience in teaching and personal meditation practice, I have designed this program to assist you in establishing a sustainable and enduring meditation routine in less than 15 minutes per day.

Research has shown that mindfulness meditation can greatly benefit your overall well-being. Mindful meditation can help to lower cortisol levels, in turn reducing stress and anxiety. With regular practice, you will find your concentration and attention span enhanced. Meditation can lead to improved mood and emotional regulation, as well as foster a deep understanding of oneself and thoughts. It will also improve sleep quality by promoting relaxation and reducing insomnia. Mindful techniques can help manage chronic pain by changing the way you perceive it, reduce blood pressure, and improve heart health.

In this program, I will introduce the key skills you need as a foundation for your mindfulness practice. By enrolling in this 40-day program, you will receive lifetime access to 40 daily 15-minute meditation practices. We will meet once a week for six weeks to deepen our learning, share our experiences, encourage each other, and meditate together. You will also receive a day to day journal. Journaling is a wonderful way to deepen your understanding and integrate new knowledge into daily life. As you journal, you will reflect on your experiences and capture your thoughts as you progress through the program.

We live in a highly stressful era, and many us may find that amidst the numerous demands of our lives, in the fast pace of our culture, we can easily lose connection with ourselves and what matters most.

A mindfulness practice addresses the universal longing we all share: the desire to be centered, to feel at home with ourselves and others, and to be comfortable in our own skin.

Mindfulness involves paying attention and becoming aware of what is happening both internally and externally in the present moment. This practice begins with a simple pause. When you feel swept away by action, a pause allows you to become aware of your surroundings and the people around you. You feel the sensations in your body and become conscious of your thoughts and emotions. to pause like this in the midst of your life brings you back to the present, allowing you to clearly see what you are thinking and feeling, as well as what is happening around you.

My goal is to support you in developing and strengthening your daily practice.

A practice that will quietly calm your mind, gently open your heart and enrich your life.

Please join hands with me on this 40-day meditation journey.

Yoga is a way to freedom. By its constant practice, we can free ourselves from fear, anguish and loneliness.
